54321 Niemann Foods Accounts Payable Supervisor

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is primarily responsible for the Accounts Payable function.

• →Oversees/conducts check run process
• →Balances vendor payments
• →Resolves issues with vendors
• →Sets up new vendors
• →Yearly W-9 filing
• →Bank account reconciliations
• →Distributes credit application and tax information
• →Follows IRS guidelines
• →Other duties as assigned

• →This job has primary supervision of the Accounts Payable staff – including coaching, development, and assistance.

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or University; or equivalent experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. 
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
