Nightingale Veterinary Partners is a fast-growing family of veterinary practices, headquartered in New York City. The organization includes practices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Florida.

We are building a company focused on clinical excellence, sustainable growth, and long-term value creation. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a finance leader who wants to play a meaningful role in helping shape the future of the organization.

About the Role

~1 min read

Nightingale Veterinary Partners is seeking a VP of Finance or CFO to join our leadership team and help guide the company through its next stage of growth. The title offered will match the level of experience and track record of the candidate.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will serve as the senior-most finance leader in the organization, overseeing our Finance and Accounting functions while acting as a strategic partner to the executive team.

The VP of Finance / CFO will work closely with our team of six in finance, helping develop the team while serving as the primary financial liaison between department leaders, executive leadership and external partners.

While a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals is important, the primary focus of this position is leadership, strategic finance, operational scaling, governance, compliance oversight, forecasting, and executive decision support.

We are seeking a builder, operator, and business partner who enjoys rolling up their sleeves when necessary but is equally comfortable navigating growth initiatives, evaluating opportunities, improving processes, and helping leaders make better decisions.
