- Drive FMEA activities to ensure product is manufactured to the highest quality standards
- Work closely with Design & Manufacturing Engineers to ensure product & processes are designed with product quality as a top priority
- Lead Root Cause Analysis & Containment efforts for any manufacturing defects or quality deviations
- Analyze failure data to drive continuous improvement projects across all aspects of manufacturing
- Design and implement quality control plans, including inspection and testing procedures for incoming materials and finished products.
- Collaborate with Suppliers and Internal Supply Chain teams to define & communicate quality standards
- Conduct process validations, including equipment qualification and process stability studies, to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards
- Support validation of product changes, and onsite FAI efforts
Requirements
~1 min read- 6+ years in Quality, Manufacturing, or Design Engineering
- Proven experience in developing quality systems in a product launch environment
- Demonstrated understanding of Manufacturing Quality Systems, and statistical analysis
- Direct experience collaborating with Design Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Teams
- Strong attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to identify & resolve quality defects
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline
