Key Responsibilities

Conduct perimeter patrols and interior patrols on foot or as assigned.
Monitor access points, control crowd flow, and prevent unauthorized entry.
Detect, deter, and respond to criminal activity or safety concerns.
Safely carry and maintain authorized firearms in accordance with Louisiana law and company policy.
De-escalate confrontations using verbal commands and conflict-resolution techniques
Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, disturbances, fire alarms, and evacuations.
Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and shift documentation.
Coordinate with the New Orleans Police Department, the State Police, and emergency responders as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and deliver courteous customer service to guests, staff, and clients.

Required Qualifications

Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and firearms qualification.

Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills.

Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in high-pressure environments.

Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including outdoor assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service.
Experience working in large-scale events, festivals, nightlife venues, or hospitality properties.
CPR / First Aid / AED certification
Crowd-control or executive-protection experience.
Familiarity with New Orleans event operations and venue security needs.

Schedule & Work Environment

Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Assignments may take place in indoor and outdoor environments.
High-visibility posts requiring extended standing or walking.
Fast-paced and dynamic environments, particularly during festivals and nightlife operations.
