Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)

Description

Northstar Behavioral Health Network is a team of professionals that specialize in serving those battling substance use disorders, specifically Opioid Use Disorder and Stimulant Use Disorder. Also specializing in those needing Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS).

• →Must be licensed by the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
• →Bachelor degree
• →Must have 1 or more years providing chemical dependency counseling (supervised internship applies)
• →Comprehensive understanding of all MN Statutes related to providing services for the population NBHN serves
• →CPR Certification or attain within 30 days
• →Must have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems
• →Must pass a State of Minnesota Background Check
• →Must possess a current Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• →Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and other computer skills
