Requirements

• →Adhere to MN State Statutes, code of ethics, insurance requirements, and Northstar’s
• →policy and procedures.
• →Maintain Continuing Education requirements to keep license in good standing.
• →Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week.
• →Conduct Diagnostic Assessments. Create treatment plans and monitor client progress.
• →Complete documentation with a focus on quality, compliance, and in a timely manner.
• →Coordinate client care with necessary support and services in the best interest of the
• →client, if applicable.
• →Other duties as assigned.
• →Required Skills/Experience:
• →Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline.
• →Must be a Licensed Mental Health Profession in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC,
• →LICSW, or LMFT)—fully licensed or pre-licensed.
• →Demonstrate competent use of the DSM-V and evidence-based approaches.
• →Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• →Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and time
• →management skills. Proficient organization skills and attention to detail.
• →Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
• →Adept to learning and navigating Electronic Health Record system. Strong computer
• →skills.
• →CPR Certification or attain within 30 days of hire (in-house training available).
• →Must have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems.
• →Must pass a drug screen and a State of MN Background Check.

Additional Skills and Experience:

• →Familiar with Procentive (EHR).
• →Training or certification in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, etc.
• →Strong motivational interviewing skills.
• →Work independently, think critically, and cultivate a solution-focused mindset.
