Description
- Oversight to ensure all metro residential facilities are adhering to DHS 245G standards and regulations.
- Participate in licensing reviews.
- Participate in P&P reviews
- Reports directly to the Vice President of Client Services. Direct report for clinical supervisors at the facility.
- Works with supervisor to assess the quality of the program based on data collected, and works with Supervisor and Clinical Leadership Team on action for identified areas of improvement.
- Implement Program and Group Rules.
- Monitors program to ensure that documentation is compliant with Minnesota Statute 245G by performing regular chart audits to ensure that all documentation is compliant
- Implement new policies and procedures as needed.
- Using sound decision-making skills, exhibiting good judgment and realistic understanding of issues.
- Review and respond to grievances, incident reports, staff and client conflict according to NBH policies and procedures.
- Review all Comprehensive Assessments and client referral documentation for the program as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the Intake and Outreach Manager regarding intake approvals and denials.
- Oversee clinical staff.
- Providing support through weekly supervision with direct reports
- Attend skip-level meetings one time per quarter
- Responsible for the hiring and oversight of the facility’s clinical staff.
- Conduct training for new clinical staff as well as ongoing training for clinical staff.
- Work with clinical staff to develop and modify the client handbook.
- Provide supervision for the clinicians.
- Attend clinical and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Complete disciplinary action protocol for all clinical staff.
- Discuss specific client cases.
- Assign caseloads to clinical staff as needed.
- Sign off on treatment or discharge plans as needed.
- Review client charts to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Must know and understand the implications of 245G, chapter 245A, 626.557, and 626.5572, and Chapter 260E.
- Bachelor degree
- Must have 3 or more years of work experience in direct service to individuals with substance use disorder and 3 years of work experience in the management or administration of direct service to individuals with substance use problems
- CPR Certification or attain within 30 days
- Must understand and follow NBH's Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Must pass a State of Minnesota Background Check
- Must possess a current Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and other computer skills
