Scribes shadow Emergency Room Physicians and complete all documentation tasks for the doctors as well as organize pending lab and radiology results. We provide a comprehensive training manual and a one-month "hands-on" training program where new scribes work alongside experienced scribes.

What We Offer

✓Ability to make a two-year part time commitment.

✓Applicants should have aspirations to become a Medical Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.

✓Currently enrolled in BA/BS program with majority of science coursework completed, post-baccalaureate students, or a recent college graduate.

✓Completion of Organic Chemistry is preferred, but not mandatory. Anatomy and medical terminology are a plus.

✓Ability to multitask with attention to detail.

✓Team player with strong work ethic who displays integrity and a willingness to be flexible.

✓Minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute.

✓Computer literate.

✓Excellent English language skills (orally and in writing).

✓Flexible schedule: all scribes work some days, some nights, some weekends, and some holidays.

✓We will never schedule you to work when you have class.

✓No prior experience is necessary. Training is provided over a one-month period. We typically hire from January - November replacing current scribes that gain entrance to medical school. We start four scribes at a time, which is why we train over a number of months.
