Position Overview

A warm, active household is seeking an experienced, long-term nanny to care for their two youngest children, ages 2 and 4. This is an afternoon-through-evening role covering the busiest stretch of the family's day — active play, outdoor time, dinner, bath, and bedtime. One parent is home during working hours, and an additional household helper is present daily, so the nanny will be part of a collaborative team rather than working solo. The family is prioritizing consistency and continuity; they are specifically looking for a candidate who can commit to the position long-term. Additional hours are available on weekends for candidates open to them.

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, engaged care for children ages 2 and 4
• Leading age-appropriate activities, creative play, and outdoor time
• Supervising safely at all times, including around the home's pool
• Preparing children's meals and snacks; managing the dinner routine
• Handling bath time and the full bedtime routine
• Tidying children's play areas, bedrooms, and eating spaces
• Coordinating daily with the parent at home and the additional household helper
• Occasional local driving is not required but is a plus

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional nanny or childcare experience with toddlers and preschool-age children
• Genuinely engaged, high-energy approach to caring for young children
• Able to commit to the position long-term
• Comfortable and confident supervising children around a swimming pool
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working alongside a parent and another household employee
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle if performing any driving
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
