Responsibilities

→Provide afterschool care, supervision, and engagement for two children
→Assist with afterschool routines including snacks, downtime, and activity transitions
→Support personal care for 12-year-old (including diapering, bathing, and mobility assistance)
→Ensure safety and attentiveness regarding food allergies
→Assist with transportation needs as required, including emergency driving if needed
→Provide weekend care coverage two weekends per month
→Maintain a calm, structured, and supportive environment
→Light household management related to the children (tidying child areas, preparing snacks, etc.)
→Build a strong, positive, and consistent relationship with both children

Requirements

Prior childcare experience required; special needs experience strongly preferred
Comfortable supporting a child with cerebral palsy and personal care needs
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
CPR and First Aid certification required
Covid vaccinated
Strong reliability, patience, and emotional maturity
Female candidates preferred per family request
