Responsibilities

→Provide attentive, engaging care for a 5-year-old boy throughout the day
→Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors
→Encourage creativity, curiosity, and active play — including outdoor adventures on the property
→Transport child to parks, outings, and activities as needed
→Prepare or assist with breakfast and help with dinner prep as the day winds down
→Support consistent routines and use calm, communicative strategies when managing big emotions
→Maintain a safe and nurturing environment at all times, including around a small pool and creek on the property
→Share daily updates with mom on the child's activities and well-being

Requirements

Prior nanny or childcare experience required
Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
Comfortable with outdoor activities, rural settings, and adventure-based play
Experience with or openness to supporting children navigating emotional or behavioral moments
Warm, nurturing, and dependable
CPR and First Aid Certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
3–5 professional references required
