MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with high school students and classrooms
- Effective communicator in a professional capacity with school leaders and students
- Strong organization and project management skillset
- Passion for Dual Enrollment students and programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree or the equivalent work experience
- Understanding of higher education practices related to the awarding of dual enrollment credits, transcription, and transfer of college credits
- Experience assessing the effectiveness of classroom instruction
- Experience developing, modifying, and implementing new curriculum
- Proficiency and comfort with learning management systems as a teacher or instructor
- Experience advising student decision-making with respect to schedules and course enrollments in alignment with their career and educational goals
- Experience writing grants applications and/or administering awarded grants
- Experience learning with invoicing and ordering academic supplies
- Comfort with internal research, data collection, and analysis to support program review

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director of Dual Enrollment supports the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of dual enrollment programming by serving as a central liaison between admissions, advising, faculty, students, and institutional departments. This position coordinates operational and academic processes related to dual enrollment, including advising support, faculty and course logistics, curriculum deployment, student issue resolution, and specialized enrollment management. The role also contributes to program assessment, accreditation and grant initiatives, instructional review, and student engagement efforts to ensure high-quality educational experiences and compliance with institutional and accreditation standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receive, organize, facilitate and aid College in the high school and Async Faculty who teach sections composed only of high school students (applications, syllabi, and grades/D2L)
- Act as a first point of contact for course-level and academic issues concerning Dual Enrollment students and coordinate all necessary parties (Director of Dual Enrollment, Advising, Disability Services, Career Services, Instructional Design Team, etc.)
- Liaise as needed with the Registrar with respect to unique Dual Enrollments, like Runways, College in the high school, or multi-modal, multi-calendar enrollments
- Support Curriculum Development and Course Deployment/Logistics
- Plan, organize, and order materials to support NPRC curriculum and initiatives
- Coordinate Dual Enrollment Student Ambassadors
- Spearhead Dual Enrollment Advising and bridge Admissions with Advising, with cross-training in Dual Enrollment Admissions
- Aid in the writing and revision process for National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) accreditation and grant applications that are the responsibility of the Dual Enrollment Director.
- Assist in implementation and data reporting for awarded grants.
- Assist in review of College in the HS instruction and evaluation
- Assist in the annual program assessment of certificates not embedded in existing degrees
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to obtain the following clearances and training:
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History Record Check
- Federal Criminal History Background Check
- Training Certificate - Mandated and Permissive Reporting in Pennsylvania

WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK SCHEDULE:
- Office Space/Location: Dependent upon incumbent’s residence location, office availability, and College needs. Remote or Hybrid assignment is available for this position. For more information regarding NPRC locations visit nprc.edu.
- Work hours: This position requires work hour flexibility and varied hours, including evenings and weekends
- Full-Time employees are expected to work a minimum of 37 hours per week. Schedules will vary based upon position and business needs
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent daily travel throughout the College’s service region required
- Consistent access to a vehicle and/or reliable means to travel within the College’s service region is necessary
