✓Coordinate activities of maintenance team members engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment and in fabricating metal parts and tools as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

✓Assists in maintaining an effective preventative maintenance program to ensure maximum equipment reliability.

✓Support continuous improvement activities within the facility.

✓See that planned work is completed in accordance to safety rules, policy, and procedures by plant employees and contractors, as directed by the

✓Maintenance Supervisor.

✓Assists in the training of maintenance personnel in the use of programmable controllers and electrical systems.

✓Coordinates all facility repairs with the Maintenance Supervisor.

✓Loads and unloads palletized racking.

✓Performs weekly and monthly inspection of fire suppression system including fire pump, maintenance of fire system, ensures good condition of fire extinguishers and fire egress signs/lights.

✓Coordinate with outside contractors to complete maintenance tasks, complete work permits and complete contractor safety training prior to beginning repair tasks, as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.

✓Maintains good mechanical condition of floor scrubbers and cleaners.

✓Directs snow removal and maintenance of exterior facility conditions as necessary, as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.

✓Will abide by all Federal, State, and Local requirements related to generating and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material.

✓Must be able to operate a scissor lift, sit down forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker.

✓Participate in annual RCRA training.

✓Participate in Lock Out Tag Out Training.

✓May be required to assist in training.

✓Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to interact with a wide variety of people.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize objectives and targets to meet deadlines.
Minimum 4 years of related experience.
Proficient in ability to read a variety of instructions including written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors in a wide variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
Proficiency with MS Office software.
Demonstrated ability in solving technical problems related to production processes.
Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees.

Experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance repair of machinery and equipment.
Strong analytical, innovative and strategic competencies.

Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $20.00, based on experience
