Enterprise Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing NTT DATA North America’s overall technology infrastructure, aligning IT strategy with business goals by analyzing current systems, identifying improvement areas, and creating a blueprint for future technology development, including standards, policies, and architecture frameworks to ensure efficient and scalable operations across the enterprise; essentially acting as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
Key responsibilities:
• IT Strategic planning:
Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, aligning IT strategy with business objectives for NTT DATA and Merger and Acquisition integrations.
• Architecture design:
Design and document the overall system architecture, including application, data, infrastructure, and security components.
• Technology evaluation:
Research and evaluate new technologies to identify potential opportunities for improvement and modernization.
• Standards and governance:
Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and governance processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Collaboration:
Work with various stakeholders including business leaders, global EAs, project teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
• Cost optimization:
Analyze and optimize IT spending by identifying potential cost savings through architectural improvements.
• Risk management:
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with technology architecture.
• Communication and documentation:
Clearly communicate architectural concepts and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences through documentation and presentations.
Required skills:
• Enterprise Architecture frameworks:
Expertise in frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman to design and implement enterprise architecture is a plus.
• Technical knowledge:
Deep understanding of various IT technologies including cloud computing, Generative AI, LLMs, databases, networking, security, and application development.
• Business acumen:
Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Communication skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical skills:
Ability to analyze complex systems, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
• Leadership skills:
Ability to influence and guide teams towards implementing the architectural vision.
