NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Business Analyst III to work onsite in Washington, DC with our global client.

The Business Analyst (BA) will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into functional and technical requirements for the OutSystems STEP v2 solution.

• →Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for digital solutions built on the OutSystems platform.
• →Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements elicitation sessions.
• →Translate business needs into:
• →User stories
• →Process flows
• →Functional specifications
• →Support backlog creation and refinement in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• →Develop and maintain:
• →Business process models (BPMN/flow diagrams)
• →Use cases and acceptance criteria
• →Ensure traceability from requirements to design, development, and testing.
• →Work closely with Solution Architects and Developers to ensure requirements are feasible and aligned with OutSystems best practices.
• →Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• →Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), including test scenario definition and validation.
• →Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend optimized workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience working with digital platforms or low-code solutions (preferably OutSystems or similar).
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Experience in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).

• Experience in enterprise modernization or legacy system transformation.
• Familiarity with API integrations, data flows, and enterprise architectures.
• Experience working in large-scale, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and user-centered design.
