Nucs AI is revolutionizing prostate cancer care through cutting-edge AI and medical imaging technology. Founded in 2024 by a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, AI researchers, and healthcare innovators, we're tackling one of medicine's most pressing challenges: the growing demand for accurate, timely cancer diagnostics in the face of rising scan volumes and limited radiologist capacity.
Our mission is to enhance diagnostic precision and expand access to expert-level prostate cancer screening, ultimately improving patient outcomes worldwide.
Join our engineering team as a Full Stack Engineer and help build the next generation of medical imaging platforms. You'll work at the intersection of healthcare and technology, developing secure, scalable systems that directly impact patient care and clinical workflows.
You'll design and implement robust distributed systems that power our AI diagnostic tools—architecting services that handle sensitive medical data reliably, scale gracefully under load, and integrate seamlessly with hospital infrastructure.
Scalable microservices architectures using Kubernetes for orchestration and deployment
Event-driven systems with RabbitMQ for reliable asynchronous processing of medical data
Robust FastAPI backends that process and serve medical imaging data at scale
Production-grade CI/CD pipelines with comprehensive testing, monitoring, and rollback capabilities
Scalable data architectures using SQL databases with smart indexing and caching strategies
Monitoring, logging, and alerting systems that ensure reliability in clinical environments
Seamless integrations between internal services and external healthcare systems (HL7, FHIR)
Modern React frontends for clinical workflows and data management
3+ years of full-stack engineering experience with shipped products that real users depend on
Strong system design skills with experience architecting distributed systems and microservices
DevOps expertise with Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD, and Google Cloud Platform
Backend proficiency in Python with Flask or FastAPI for building reliable APIs and services
Database expertise in SQL and relational data modeling for handling complex medical data
Experience with message queues and event-driven architecture patterns
Clear communication skills and a pragmatic approach to solving complex technical problems
Frontend competency in TypeScript and React
