Security Architect

We are looking for a pragmatic and experienced Security Architect to join our organization. This role is not about writing policies for the sake of policies – it is about designing security that works in real environments.

You will support our customers and internal teams by translating security, regulatory, and business requirements into practical, sustainable, and implementable security solutions. You will be involved early in customer engagements and play a key role in ensuring Security by Design across architectures, platforms, and services.

What you will do

As a Security Architect with us, you will work on several levels:

• Support new customer engagements by understanding security, regulatory, and business requirements and translating them into concrete security architectures and solutions

• Design security as an integrated part of IT solutions – Security by Design, not bolted‑on controls

• Advise architects, delivery teams, and customers on security‑related decisions across infrastructure, applications, services and cloud 

• Perform practical assessments of solutions and environments against relevant industry standards and frameworks

• Support internal improvement initiatives related to security architecture, governance, and compliance

• Act as a bridge between technical teams, security requirements, and business needs

The focus should always be on outcome and usability, not theoretical perfection.

Who we are looking for

You are a hands‑on security architect who enjoys solving real problems and working close to both customers and delivery teams.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience working with security architecture in real delivery environments

• Strong ability to translate requirements into solutions, not just documents

• A practical understanding of Security by Design principles

• Experience working with standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, CIS Controls, or similar 

• Experience engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and advising on security matters

• The confidence to challenge solutions when security is not good enough – and propose better alternatives

Your profile

You are proactive, structured, and analytical, with a strong sense of responsibility. 

This role is intended for a Security Architect who has reached their level through several years of hands‑on experience in security architecture roles.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Strongly solution‑oriented – you focus on how security is actually implemented and works in practice

• Experienced in making architectural security decisions in real customer and delivery environments

• Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility for security outcomes, not just recommendations

• Used to balancing security requirements, technical constraints, and business needs

You have built your seniority by designing, assessing, and improving real security solutions, and you are confident working independently while collaborating closely with architects, engineers, technicians, project managers and customers.

You have experience working closely with customers in complex IT and operational environments and the ability to work in a structured, independent, and advisory manner. You also have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, and you have documented experience in leading security work at an account level or equivalent.
