Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards and reports using Power BI, including assisting with data modeling, Power Query transformations, and DAX measures.
- →Maintain assigned reporting workflows by helping to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates, and supporting troubleshooting efforts.
- →Provide support to users of dashboards, reports, and data tools, including responding to questions and assisting with basic guidance.
- →Contribute to improvements identified by the team to improve data collection, reporting processes, and internal workflows.
- →Support the design and deployment of tools and solutions (e.g., PowerApps) to enhance data collection and workflow processes
- →Support the development and maintenance of tools using Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate).
- →Develop working knowledge of the division’s assets and the teams who manage them.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
~3 min read- Bachelor’s degree and/or 1–2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Power BI/DAX.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to combine and model data from multiple sources.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Lists) is a plus.
- Experience supporting reporting or analytics functions (internship or professional) preferred.
- A portfolio (e.g., GitHub) demonstrating technical proficiency and clear written communication is preferred.
- Experience/Interest in real estate, asset management, or project management preferred.
- New York City government experience a plus.
- New York City residency (required within 180 days of hire).
