WPP is the trusted growth partner for the world’s leading brands. We unite cutting-edge media intelligence and data solutions, world-class creativity, next-generation production, transformative enterprise solutions and expert strategic counsel in a single company – powered by exceptional talent and our agentic marketing platform, WPP Open, to help our clients navigate change, capture opportunity and deliver transformational growth. At Ogilvy we inspire brands and people to impact the world. We do this by delivering borderless creativity at the intersections of culture, data and creativity. All of our disciplines work together in our bright, open-plan office, with a friendly culture and creatively permissive environment (we find the best ideas pop up that way).

As our Junior Controller, you will step into a highly dynamic and international environment where no two days are the same. You will report directly to, and work closely with, our Business Controller, who will provide comprehensive guidance and mentorship across all facets of Revenue and Job Management. This is a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Beyond daily tasks, you'll actively initiate or participate in projects aimed at driving continuous improvement within our organization. While some back-office finance functions are managed by our Group Shared Service Center in Spain, you will collaborate with them on specific tasks, adding a valuable international dimension to your experience.

As a Junior Controller, you will be an integral part of our finance team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be part of revenue accounting and periodic reporting/ad hoc requests for the Management Team, Network, Account Teams and Clients;
  • Performing accurate and timely month, quarter, half-year, and year-end closing processes, including client profitability analysis, deferred and accrued revenue positions, and timesheet management;
  • Be a point of contact for project and finance related requests and inquiries while having multiple periodic meetings with various internal stakeholders on client financial performance;
  • Review and analyze the company’s figures and business performance regularly via our ERP system and group data analytics tool (Quantum);
  • Initiate business and process improvements and participate in projects.
