Are you deeply immersed in internet culture and passionate about crafting influencer strategies that get everyone talking? We're looking for a Senior Influence Strategist to join our Ogilvy Influence team.
In this role, you'll be the strategic powerhouse behind our award-winning campaigns, turning cultural insights into influential ideas for some of the world's biggest brands. You will be our cultural ear to the ground, guiding clients and creatives to deliver work that earns its place in conversation, blending smart paid and earned strategies. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and execute award-winning influencer marketing strategies rooted in cultural insight for a diverse portfolio of high-profile brands.
- →Act as the strategic lead on influence, guiding senior clients to understand and integrate influence within their broader marketing and communications plans.
- →Uncover compelling insights and cultural tensions to build the foundations for exceptional, earned-first creative ideas.
- →Write clear, inspiring creative briefs that empower our creative teams to generate groundbreaking work.
- →Lead the strategic component of new business pitches, structuring and delivering winning responses with confidence.
- →Collaborate closely with strategists across the agency and our specialist influence account teams to create cohesive, impactful campaigns.
- →Mentor and develop junior colleagues, helping to upskill the entire team and elevate our collective craft.
- Strategic & Conceptual Thinking: You can see the bigger picture, challenge assumptions, and identify the real client problem to develop strategies that deliver tangible results.
- Cultural Fluency: You are constantly inspired by the social space, with an expert ability to identify the right trend, tension, or insight for the right brand at the right time.
- Compelling Storytelling: You are a highly polished and persuasive presenter, able to structure and sell an idea to senior clients and internal teams alike.
- Collaborative Leadership: You build credible relationships at all levels, inspire teams to produce their best work, and know how to delegate effectively to drive impact.
- Deep Craft Expertise: You have a profound understanding of the influencer and social media landscape, from platform nuances to measurement, and know what it takes to create distinctive, effective work.
You are an experienced and passionate strategist who lives and breathes social and influencer marketing. You have a proven track record of building effective, earned-first strategies with influencers at their core. You’re naturally curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two briefs are the same. Most importantly, you’re a collaborative team player, excited by the opportunity to work with diverse teams and help make Ogilvy’s influence output the best it can be.
