About the Role
~1 min readThe Strategy Director is a key leadership role within the agency, responsible for driving strategic thinking and ensuring the delivery of impactful brand and communication strategies for our clients. A strong advocate for creative excellence, you will use your expertise and vision to inspire and guide the agency's creative output. You will lead a team of strategists, oversee strategic planning for key accounts, contribute significantly to new business development, and play a vital role in shaping the agency's overall strategic vision. You are a recognized expert in your field, capable of inspiring both clients and colleagues with your strategic insights and creative thinking.
Responsibilities

- Lead client engagements, providing strategic counsel and direction.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Oversee client budgets and ensure projects are delivered profitably.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative brand and communication strategies.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and audience insights gathering.
- Define brand positioning, messaging, and communication frameworks.
- Oversee the development of strategic deliverables, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
- Champion creative excellence within the agency, fostering a culture of innovation and strategic thinking.
- Provide strategic guidance and inspiration to creative teams, ensuring work is both creatively brilliant and strategically sound, reflecting your own high standards for creative output.
- Contribute to the agency's thought leadership efforts, sharing expertise and insights through publications, presentations, and industry events.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of strategists, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and create opportunities for skill enhancement.
- Build a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
- Play a leading role in new business pitches, developing compelling strategic proposals and presenting with confidence and clarity.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the agency's growth and success.
