Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Drive APJ Marketing Strategy and Pipeline Generation: Define and own the comprehensive APJ demand marketing strategy, covering all segments from SMB to the region’s largest accounts, and maximizing total pipeline by integrating deep Business/Sales Development knowledge.
- →Maximize Customer Growth: Define and execute the post-sales marketing strategy, focusing on increasing customer retention and adoption, and accelerating expansion through targeted upsell, cross-sell, advocacy and loyalty programs, including user group initiatives.
- →Foster Executive Engagement & Regional Event Strategy: Own and execute the regional event strategy, including third-party events and hosted roadshows, while actively driving community building and executive engagement across the APJ region.
- →Lead and Collaborate Across Functions: Lead a high-performing team, acting as the primary liaison between APJ marketing functions, regional managers, and field sales. Drive collaboration with Global Demand Center, Product Marketing, and Partner teams (CSPs, SIs, Resellers) to ensure programs reflect local requirements and amplify campaigns.
- →Ensure Market and Message Alignment: Partner with sales and product marketing to shape the message, converting insights into campaign assets that speak directly to the APJ audience. Manage strategic target account marketing (ABM) approaches, leveraging account plans and analytics for success.
- →Execute, Optimize, and Report: Discover and develop integrated marketing approaches that deliver disruptive growth. Consistently analyze campaign results, optimise programs for increased account engagement / lead quality and marketing spend effectiveness, and own reporting of results and market insights back to the organization.
- →Team & Budget Management: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing regional marketing team while overseeing budget allocation across various sub-regions and channels.
- →Champion AI Transformation: Champion and operationalize the "Human + AI" mindset, focusing on system-level process design and workflow automation to drive upskilling and efficiency across the APJ Marketing team.
Requirements
~1 min read- Demonstrated experience and success in B2B APJ marketing with knowledge of the broader GTM team
- Strong leadership qualities, and demonstrated success of leading a high performing team
- Deep understanding of demand, inbound and account based/target account marketing strategies
- Track record of campaign ownership and consistent success with a high return on investment
- Experience in leveraging generative AI tools for marketing orchestration, workflow automation, and content velocity.
- Identity Experience a plus
- Adept at collaborating with sales, product marketing and cross functional marketing teams
- Highly self-motivated and organised
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Quantitative skills to make data-driven decisions and reporting
