The Glass Material Handler is focused on ensuring a quality glass product is produced safely and efficiently and reports to the Shift Supervisor. Please note this is a morning shift position Monday to Friday from 6:00am-2:00pm with a 30 minute paid lunch break.

This role is perfect for an individual who likes to work with a small team, has strong attention to detail and who takes pride in their work.  A vital member of the Operations Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• →Load, unload, sort, and stage glass using overhead crane and/or manual handling methods.
• →Read and verify glass tags and specifications to ensure correct material selection and machine setup.
• →Inspect finished products for size, thickness, and quality; reject items outside acceptable tolerances.
• →Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and disposal of broken glass.
• →Maintain equipment in safe working condition and uphold housekeeping standards in the department.
• →Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support production goals and a positive work environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs-75lbs regularly over shift and remain standing for long periods
