The Janitor is focused on performing cleaning tasks in a manufacturing environment and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The janitor will report to the department supervisor. 

This role is perfect for an individual who has a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and good verbal and written communication skills.  A vital member of the business, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

• →Gather and empty trash both inside and outside the facility.
• →Sweep, mop, and vacuum building floors.
• →Clean restrooms and restock with supplies.
• →Clean and disinfect surfaces that are touched frequently.
• →Wash windows, walls, and glass.
• →Use industrial floor scrubber to clean production floors.
• →Remove debris from sidewalks.
• →Cleanup spills with appropriate equipment.
• →Notify managers of major building repairs.
• →Lock doors to secure buildings once cleaning is complete.
• →Maintain cleaning inventory, notifying department manager when new products and supplies are needed.
• →Work towards continuously improving workplace organization, safety, quality, and productivity, and supports an environment that empowers employees.
• →Uses required personal protective equipment.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Familiar with KAIVAC No-Touch cleaning system
• Must be self-motivated to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have good communication skills both verbally and written.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
