The Production Supervisor is focused on driving plant operations within the Extrusion department.

This role is perfect for an individual who is detailed, organized, and a self-starter.  A vital member of the Production Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

• →Manage labor effectively for the department
• →Drive plant operations and continuous improvement  
• →Work closely with all departments to help meet plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including safety, environment, people, quality, responsiveness, and cost
• →Ensure that all personnel, prior to the start of shift, are wearing the correct safety equipment and that safety awareness is maintained throughout the shift
• →Ensure that all safety and incident reporting procedures are followed as well as all individuals are properly trained and their job functions are being performed correctly

• 2+ years of management experience in manufacturing
• Possess a working knowledge of TPS concepts e.g. work place organization/5S, root cause analysis
• Understands production planning concepts - able to plan, allocate resources, manage production and coordinate people and equipment
