Reports To: Managing Director / Senior Vice President, Capital Markets

Olympus Property is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Capital Markets to support the continued growth of the firm's retail alternative investment platform, with a primary focus on Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) and private REIT offerings.

This remote-based position combines capital raising, intermediary relationship management, sales support, and capital markets operations. The AVP will work closely with the Capital Markets team to support financial advisors, broker-dealers, registered investment advisers (RIAs), family offices, and other distribution partners while helping manage the operational requirements associated with bringing DST and REIT offerings to market.

The ideal candidate understands the alternative investment and 1031 exchange marketplace and is comfortable operating across both the sales and operational sides of capital markets.

  • Support distribution and capital raising efforts for Olympus Property's DST and private REIT investment offerings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors, broker-dealers, RIAs, family offices, 1031 exchange professionals, and other alternative investment intermediaries.
  • Conduct outbound sales activity and follow-up with prospective selling partners and advisors.
  • Participate in advisor meetings, conference calls, webinars, due diligence meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Educate advisors and distribution partners regarding current offerings, investment strategies, property fundamentals, portfolio positioning, and the Olympus Property platform.
  • Identify new selling relationships and assist in expanding Olympus Property's presence across the independent broker-dealer and RIA channels.
  • Coordinate with senior Capital Markets professionals on territory development, advisor segmentation, and capital raising initiatives.
  • Maintain consistent communication with advisors throughout the DST subscription and 1031 exchange process.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to advisors regarding the DST investment process and general 1031 exchange mechanics.
  • Assist advisors and their clients in navigating DST offering materials, subscription procedures, investment deadlines, and closing requirements.
  • Coordinate with qualified intermediaries, custodians, broker-dealers, transfer agents, escrow providers, and other third-party service providers as necessary.
  • Monitor DST fundraising activity, available equity, projected closings, and offering capacity.
  • Help manage communication surrounding offering launches, equity availability, investment deadlines, and offering closings.
  • Support the Capital Markets team with investor and advisor inquiries regarding DST offerings and property-level information.
  • Support capital raising for the Olympus private REIT and related investment strategies.
  • Assist advisors with subscriptions, investment documentation, account servicing, and operational questions.
  • Help coordinate subscription processing, investor onboarding, capital activity, and communications with fund administrators, transfer agents, custodians, and other service providers.
  • Support ongoing advisor communication regarding portfolio activity, NAV reporting, distributions, acquisitions, dispositions, and other relevant fund developments.
  • Assist with initiatives designed to grow recurring investment relationships within the REIT platform.
  • Coordinate with acquisitions, asset management, accounting, legal, compliance, investor relations, and executive leadership to support new investment offerings.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of offering materials, due diligence materials, presentations, fact sheets, advisor communications, and other sales resources.
  • Support broker-dealer and RIA due diligence processes, including document requests, questionnaires, data room management, and follow-up.
  • Assist with selling agreement onboarding and ongoing intermediary relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of advisor activity, pipeline opportunities, subscriptions, and capital raising activity within the firm's CRM.
  • Prepare internal capital raising reports, pipeline reports, sales forecasts, and management updates.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and scalability of the firm's retail capital markets infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors supporting transfer agency, fund administration, securities processing, compliance, and investor servicing.

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 2+ years of experience in alternative investments, real estate securities, capital markets, investment distribution, financial services, or a related field.
  • Experience with DSTs, 1031 exchanges, private REITs, private placements, or other alternative investment products strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with broker-dealer and RIA distribution channels.
  • Understanding of the DST subscription and 1031 exchange process preferred.
  • Experience supporting or raising capital from financial advisors and accredited investors.
  • Ability to understand and communicate sophisticated real estate investment concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple offerings, advisor relationships, and operational priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a geographically dispersed Capital Markets team.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related financial services technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate, business, or related discipline preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 preferred.
  • Candidates without applicable securities licenses may be considered depending upon experience and responsibilities, subject to the firm's broker-dealer and compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will combine the relationship skills of a wholesaler with the attention to detail of a capital markets professional. This individual should be equally comfortable speaking with a financial advisor about an investment opportunity, helping move a DST subscription toward closing, coordinating a broker-dealer due diligence request, or preparing an internal capital raising report.

The role is particularly well suited for someone who wants broader responsibility than a traditional wholesaling position and is interested in participating in the continued development of a growing retail alternative investment platform.

Founded in 1992, Olympus Property is an established multifamily real estate owner and operator with a long-standing history of acquiring, operating, and investing in multifamily communities across the United States. Olympus is expanding its retail capital markets platform to provide qualified investors and financial intermediaries access to institutional-quality multifamily real estate strategies through DST and private REIT investment offerings.

The AVP of Capital Markets will play an important role in supporting this expansion and helping build long-term relationships across the broker-dealer, RIA, family office, and 1031 exchange communities.
