Registered Dietitian (Remote) Help Shape the Future of Virtual Nutrition Care OpenLoop is seeking passionate, patient-focused Registered Dietitians to join our growing remote care team. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of digital health, evidence-based nutrition, and obesity medicine while helping patients create sustainable, life-changing outcomes. As a Registered Dietitian at OpenLoop, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians to deliver personalized medical nutrition therapy and coaching for patients participating in both lifestyle-only and medication-assisted weight management pathways. What You’ll Do Deliver comprehensive virtual nutrition assessments and individualized care plans using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) Empower patients through motivational interviewing, goal setting, behavior-change coaching, and relapse prevention strategies Guide patients using GLP-1/GIP and other anti-obesity medication nutrition protocols, including: satiety management protein optimization fiber and hydration strategies GI side-effect management micronutrient support Support sustainable lifestyle-based weight management approaches alongside pharmacologic care Collaborate closely with prescribers to align nutrition recommendations with medication titration, lab monitoring, and comorbidity management Utilize OpenLoop’s digital platforms to review food/activity logs, monitor progress, and provide asynchronous coaching between visits Identify and escalate disordered eating concerns, making warm referrals to behavioral health or specialty care when appropriate Maintain timely, accurate, and patient-centered documentation within OpenLoop’s EHR Participate in quality initiatives, interdisciplinary case reviews, and the development of educational content and care protocols Contribute to a culture focused on innovation, compassion, and clinical excellence Requirements What Makes You a Great Fit Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential with active state licensure Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain multi-state telehealth licensure per CDR guidance 2+ years of experience in adult weight management, obesity care, or metabolic health (clinical or digital health settings) Confidence navigating virtual care platforms, digital engagement tools, and remote patient communication Strong motivational interviewing and behavior-change coaching skills Working knowledge of nutrition considerations related to anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1/GIP therapies and combination pharmacotherapy Excellent written communication skills with a patient-first mindset Tech-savvy, adaptable, and highly organized Commitment to HIPAA compliance and high-quality virtual care delivery 1+ year of experience supporting patients in virtual or digital health environments preferred Benefits Why OpenLoop? 100% remote flexibility Opportunity to shape the future of virtual obesity and metabolic care Collaborative, mission-driven clinical culture Work alongside innovative healthcare leaders and multidisciplinary care teams Make a measurable impact on patients’ long-term health outcomes Join a rapidly growing company transforming access to care nationwide Join Us If you’re passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care in a modern virtual setting, we invite you to help us bring healing anywhere.
