The Senior Director, Biosciences Marketing is responsible for leading the strategic direction, operational execution, and project management of marketing initiatives for Amneal's oncology biosimilar portfolio. This role will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support the commercialization and growth of a portfolio that includes oncology and immunology biosimilars, 505(b)(2) products, and future pipeline biosimilars.
This position combines strategic brand leadership with strong operational oversight, ensuring that marketing initiatives are effectively planned, executed, measured, and aligned with corporate objectives. The Senior Director will drive marketing planning, cross-functional coordination, campaign development, launch readiness, and operational excellence across the oncology portfolio.
Reporting to the SVP - Biosimilars & Branded Oncology, this leader will work closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, and Commercial Operations to ensure effective execution of marketing programs and alignment with Amneal's broader commercial strategy. The role will also lead and develop an expanding team of oncology marketing professionals, building scalable marketing processes and operational infrastructure to support the company's growing biosimilar portfolio.
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Lead strategic market analysis, competitive intelligence, and market insights generation to inform portfolio strategy and brand positioning; Define brand strategy, value proposition, and core messaging for oncology biosimilars and related portfolio products; Develop and execute annual strategic and tactical marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives and revenue targets; Translate strategic direction into actionable commercial plans and measurable marketing initiatives.
- Marketing Operations & Project Management: Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple brands and product lifecycle stages; Establish strong marketing operations processes, project management frameworks, and execution timelines to ensure efficient delivery of marketing programs; Manage cross-functional project plans, ensuring alignment of deliverables across Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Sales Training, Market Access, Finance, and Sales Operations; Oversee campaign timelines, agency deliverables, promotional material development, and launch readiness activities; Implement and monitor marketing performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness and optimize resource allocation. Drive operational discipline in budget management, resource prioritization, and vendor/agency oversight.
- Campaign Development & Execution: Lead the development and launch of integrated professional and consumer marketing campaigns to support product awareness, adoption, and market growth; Ensure consistent brand messaging across digital, field, and promotional channels; Guide the development of sales tools, promotional materials, educational resources, and digital assets that support field execution; Oversee agency partnerships to deliver high-impact marketing programs that align with brand strategy.
- Sales Enablement & Commercial Execution: Lead the planning and execution of a best-in-class National Sales Meeting, ensuring alignment of brand strategy, messaging, and field execution; Collaborate with Sales Training and Sales Leadership to ensure effective deployment of brand messaging and promotional tools; Partner with Sales Operations to develop and monitor sales metrics, field performance indicators, and marketing effectiveness measures.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the central marketing lead coordinating cross-functional execution across Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Managed Markets, Sales Training, Sales Leadership, Finance, Trade and Distribution and Commercial Operations; Ensure marketing initiatives remain compliant, aligned, and executed efficiently.
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence; Establish scalable marketing processes and project management discipline to support portfolio growth. Mentor team members and develop organizational capabilities in biosimilar marketing, campaign execution, and commercial operations.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Relevant field - Required
- Master's degree (MBA) - Preferred
- 12 years or more in Demonstrated track record of success in pharmaceutical sales and marketing
- 5 years or more in pharmaceutical marketing experience to include successful new product launches, project management and effective management of agency partners & promotional budget
- 2 years or more in Sales management experience
- 2 years or more in Field Sales experience
The salary for this position ranges from $245,000 to $280,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award as well as a long-term incentive award, such as restricted stock units, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
