Porsche Centre Richmond is seeking a Full-Time Workshop Manager to join our growing team.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workshop Management:
- Monitor and address technician performance (verbal/written).
- Support technicians, handle escalations, and consult with clients when needed.
- Conduct test drives with clients when required.
- Submit PRMS tickets and verify warranty write-ups before submission.
Maximizing Sales:
- Review PMPI checklists to optimize sales and communication with advisors.
- Monitor declined work and technician Kimoby videos, ensuring Porsche standards for walkaround videos.
Dispatch & Workflow:
- Efficiently plan and distribute work to meet realistic timeframes.
- Ensure vehicles progress through Rapid Recon appropriately.
Quality Control:
- Conduct spot checks and address issues directly with technicians.
- Monitor and report comebacks (follow-up visits) to management.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all required safety equipment and checklists are in place.
- Report any safety concerns or necessary equipment attention to management.
Technician Training & Development:
- Enroll technicians in training to maintain yearly ZPT mandates.
- Coach and onboard new technicians.
Equipment & Tooling Management:
- Ensure shop equipment is functional and safe.
- Maintain inventory of mandatory OEM tools.
This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Strong understanding of automotive equipment.
- Highly motivated, organized, and punctual.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with the service team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- Valid British Columbia driver's license with a clean driving record
