Your Role at Orb:

Design a low-rate manufacturing line for American-made UAVs. Fixtures, tooling, processes, equipment from 0 to 250 units per quarter.

· Line and Process Design

· Tooling and Fixture Design

· Equipment Selection and Purchase

· Automated Testing Design

· Quality Assurance Processes

· Technician Hiring and Management

· Design for Manufacturing Consultation with the Product Team

· Experience in CAD (NX, Autodesk)

· Proven Experience in Process Engineering for Low-Rate Production

· Ability to Own and Design a Manufacturing Line

· Lean Six Sigma/GD&T Experience.

· Strong root cause analysis skills and experience.
