Live Scenario Role Player

OTA is hiring role players to participate in immersive, scenario-based exercises where you’ll take on assigned characters, respond to changing situations, and help students practice skills they may need in the field. Step into character and help bring realistic scenarios to life - great for college students, student actors, ROTC participants, criminal justice majors, and future public-service professionals.

Opportunities may be available during school breaks, long weekends, and other periods of greater availability. Onboarding required to be completed before availability begins.
 

Responsibilities

  • Assume and accurately portray fictional personas provided by OTA during training sessions and interviews.

  • Perform physical actions as required by training scenarios.

  • Maintain character and stay “in role” throughout the duration of the training exercise.

  • Follow all security procedures, company policies, and behavior guidelines as outlined by OTA.

  • Adapt to different training formats and scenarios as needed.
     

Work Schedule

  • Report times may vary between 6:15 AM and 6:00 PM, with roles typically lasting 2 to 4 hours. Some sessions may conclude as late as midnight.
     

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • U.S. Citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident.

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., running, kneeling, lifting props).

  • Proficient in English (fluency in additional languages is a plus).

  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
