Oula is redesigning maternity care from the ground up. Our modern maternity centers combine obstetrics and midwifery to deliver a more evidence-based, personalized pregnancy experience. Through our collaborative care teams, welcoming clinical environments, and technology-enabled platform, we are setting a new standard for perinatal care.
As we expand into Westchester, NY we are seeking a Part time OB/GYN to support both clinical care and quality oversight as we build and scale a new market. For clinical launch, this role is approximately 12 hours per week, primarily supporting in-clinic care, providing on-site clinical guidance, and helping establish strong quality and operational foundations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative, collaborative care model alongside midwives, nurses, and care coordinators.
This is a part-time, exempt, non-benefits eligible role designed to support a growing maternity care program through on-site care, clinical guidance, and quality oversight.
- 20 hours of in person in clinic time scheduled over 3 weekdays and availability for consultation M-F during work hours
The role is onsite, with responsibilities spanning outpatient care, clinical leadership, inpatient scheduled C/S and ECVs and limited on-call phone coverage during program launch.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Conduct pregnancy consults
- →Support EPC visits and early pregnancy care
- →Provide gynecologic care, as needed
- →Partner with midwives and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- →Provide clinical consultation and escalation support for higher-risk or complex cases
- →Perform scheduled C/S and ECVs
- →Provide after-hours phone coverage for urgent escalations from answering service during initial program launch
- →Perform weekly review of patient panels, with emphasis on high-risk patients during on site time
- →Provide co-management support and clinical guidance to midwives
- →Act as a champion of the collaborative care model, including supporting integration with Labor & Delivery and building team culture
- →Support oversight of the market-level quality program (in partnership with central clinical leadership)
- →Lead KPI review and quality improvement initiatives
- →Conduct chart reviews, incident reviews/reporting, and root cause analyses
- →Assist with administrative projects that support clinical integration as needed during ramp period

Requirements
~1 min read- MD or DO from an ACGME-accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active New York medical license
- Experience managing obstetric care, including higher-risk patients
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to provide consultative support in a clinical setting
Nice to Have

- Prior experience in clinical leadership or quality improvement
- Experience supporting interdisciplinary care teams
- Comfort with telemedicine and digital health platforms
