Life Protect 24/7 is searching for self-motivated, Custodial Supervisor to lead our team, ensure high-quality cleaning standards, and provide ongoing employee training and support. This role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and strong organizational skills to maintain a well-functioning custodial operation.


Schedule: 

  • Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (with occasional over night shift for training)

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Training & Support

  • Conduct comprehensive training for all new custodial employees.

  • Provide ongoing support and training during PM shifts, especially regarding supplies, chemicals, and procedures. (Multiple PM shifts will be required.)

Quality Control & Facility Maintenance

  • Perform quality control (QC) checks on both AM and PM custodial shifts.

  • Work alongside the custodial team daily, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep through active, hands-on leadership.

Problem-Solving & Issue Management

  • Address cleaning-related concerns independently before escalating to upper management.

  • Handle non-emergency issues on-site and report them in weekly check-ins without unnecessary disruptions.

Team Coordination & Scheduling

  • Cover lunch breaks and arrange shift coverage when needed.

  • Manage leave requests and call-outs, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed.

  • Ensure AM staff arrive on time and complete their designated shifts.

Leadership & Professional Conduct

  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle disciplinary matters privately.

  • Schedule meetings with upper management for non-emergency concerns requiring their input.

On-the-Floor Leadership

  • Actively work with custodial staff, fostering teamwork and shared accountability.

Supplies & Laundry Management

  • Oversee supply inventory and ordering, with minimal assistance from maintenance staff (except for large deliveries or in cases of absence).

  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and laundry operations are well-managed and fully stocked.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high cleaning standards.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to work alongside the team.

  • Supervising and management experience
