- Documents and completes all internal and external requests for Corrective Action as well as all nonconforming materials reports.
- Investigates and documents root-cause analysis and initiates and completes long-term actions.
- Controls the non-conforming area to ensure that all non-conforming product is adequately reviewed for possible rework or scrap. Ensures no product is allowed to continue in the production process unless adequately tested to meet all customer requirements.
- Acts as the Element Champion for ISO
- Generates weekly reports detailing current nonconformances and all external issues.
- Coordinates problem-solving efforts to ensure that all aspects of any problem are reviewed and acted upon to conform to the quality system plan.
- Interacts with customers to ascertain problems and complaints with the objective to resolve these problems and complaints using team-oriented problem-solving techniques.
- Trains workers in the inspection and testing procedures necessary to ensure the quality of the operations being performed.
- Interacts among all departments to ensure that they know and understand the Quality System Plan.
- Trains department co-workers in proper root-cause analysis for cross-functional team development. Performs all sampling and part approval inspection necessary to meet customer requirements.
Performs In-Process audits and inspection to ensure parts are being correctly produced and proper procedures are followed by Production.
Performs calibration and properly operates equipment such as CMM, Romer, etc.
Requirements

A solid background in Quality System procedures is needed, along with experience in 8-d corrective actions, root-cause analysis and mistake-proofing is preferred
