As a DTICI_Network Communication_Engineer_T9, you will be at the forefront of vehicle networking communication development for all brands of Daimler Truck & Buses across the globe. As a key member of the Network Communication team (within of global Architecture & Powernet Cross-function) at Daimler Truck Innovation Center India, you will contribute to the technical scope analysis, design & implementation of Vehicle Messages Matrix for different vehicle projects, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery. Also, your expertise will be instrumental in supporting various technology, process efficiency, and AI/ML initiatives within the department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct technical scope analysis for Network Communication, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct deep impact analysis of new requirements on existing EE networks and components.
- Implement the new communication requirements provided by ECU/Feature owners in Daimler Architecture tool.
- Manage multiple stake holders across the organization over the globe and understand their requirements.
- Analyze communication and latest Autosar requirements and propose solutions accordingly
- Creation of Autosar ECU extract and validate them.
- Analyze the feedback provided by stake holders and take corrective actions.
- Deliver ECU Extracts or DBC files to all the respective stakeholders
- Develop scripts using Python or any other scripting language as needed.
- Contribute as part the Agile team in sync with Product Owner & Scrum Master
- Bring up new ideas (Innovation, Gen AI, etc) for efficiency & productivity improvement
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in vehicle networking technologies and trends.
- Share technical expertise to other team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay ahead in the field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle networking and communication technologies.
- Hands on experience of Autosar Communication stake and handling ECU extracts
- Hands on experience in EE Architecture and In-Vehicle Networking
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for Network Communication analysis and implementation. Working experience with Vector Prevision tool or any similar tool for ECU extract development is preferable
- Experience with AUTOSAR SW development and BSW integration and development
- Strong knowledge of Network Communication protocols ( CAN, CAN FD, CAN XL, J1939, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, etc.) & and standards
- Good understanding of SecOC and E2E protection concepts
- Good experience in Problem solving, analysis and debugging of communication matrix
- SW testing for Autosar layers is also a good to have experience.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in automotive contexts is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on efficient solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for driving change and improvement.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in vehicle networking.
