Daimler Truck Financial Services has an exciting new Operations Officer role, fixed for 12 months. Based at our Head Office in Mulgrave, and in a critical role within the Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of daily operational functions, resolving complex customer queries and contributing to the efficient completion of tasks supporting Settlements, Customer Support, Collections, and Remarketing.

 

 

Reporting into the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional Customer Support by handling inbound and outbound calls, as well as prioritising associated administrative tasks
  • Undertaking outbound Collections calls focused on resolution of debts and negotiating customised payment plans
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of settlements by reviewing finance documentation for compliance and accuracy

  • Supporting Remarketing activities as needed, including the coordination of repossessed assets, remarketing and managing GBB (Guaranteed Buy Back) returns

  • Acting as a key contributor on financial assistance issues, ensuring appropriate support is given to customers requiring hardship or deferrals, managing empathy alongside business risk
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of settlements by reviewing finance documentation for compliance, while meeting individual and team KPIs.

 

 

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills. You will thrive on talking with customers, providing tailored solutions to their specific needs and providing an outstanding level of service with genuine customer care. Your driven and curious nature combined with your ability to hear the voice of our customer will ensure you are on the path to success in this role. Ideally you have had some experience within Finance or Insurance Operations, and can quickly establish yourself in a new environment, making the most of this fixed term opportunity.  This role will allow you to cross-collaborate and learn new tasks within the team and support across Settlements, Customer Support, Collections, and Remarketing.
