Surerus is looking to hire a Warehouse Labourer in our Fort St. John shop. The Warehouse Labourer will be responsible for monitoring inventory, identifying and cataloguing parts, supplies, and assemblies as well as receiving, inspecting and sorting materials. This position will also ensure timely pickup and delivery of parts and housekeeping in the warehouse and deliver parts to maintenance shop personnel as required.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Post secondary education in a related field
• Other combinations of experience and education may be considered
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
Experience
• 3+ years of experience within a similar position.
Skills and Knowledge
• High attention-to-detail
• High level of initiative
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining quick and timely responses to high volume of emails
• Highly organized and able to work on multiple competing priorities at any one time
• Dedication to exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients; and
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is shop based and is located at our Fort St John shop, working a 5-day work week, minimum 8-hour days. Ability to work overtime required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00 hourly. We will consider factors including previous experience, education, skills, and internal equity when determining placement within this range. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including extended health, dental, life and disability insurance, RRSP matching, and staff events.

• Receive ordered parts and checks each item for damage, correct quantities, back orders, etc.
• Check with the mechanics and welders before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry
• Monitor inventory levels (oil, filters, etc) and advise purchaser when restocking is needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly parts room
• Follow and maintain Company standards in accordance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment requirements
• Recommend and implement improvements to internal processes and controls
• Liaise and collaborate within operations, partner companies, and corporate support functions as required
• Perform other general labourer duties as required
