C++ Developer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, with experience in C++ and power management, capable of managing projects and tasks independently and responsibly. This role requires close collaboration with the team and active participation in on-site activities in Bolzano, 2 weeks/month.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, improve and maintain the overall charging functions and the associated power management functions, such as power sharing, cooling/derating, grid control, battery storage systems, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and depot charging
• Develop and extend the charging interface between EVs, EVSEs and the grid in line with new standards and market trends (MCS, bi-directional power transfer and load balancing)
• Deliver the best power sharing functionalities on the market
• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of field issues
• Accompany interoperability and conformance tests

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Previous relevant work experience
• Strong proficiency in C++ or Python
• Proficient with version control systems (GIT) and build environments
• Knowledge of control theory, energy systems, or real-time optimization
• Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink
• Familiarity with energy and charging standards is a plus
• Autonomous and solution-oriented work style, as well as analytical thinking
• Enthusiasm, good communication skills and ability to work in a team 
• Fluent in English, nice to have German and/or Italian
