People & Culture Manager

To develop the best of the best we are looking for a high energy, commercially minded People and Culture Manager to join our Forever New team.

In this broad and rewarding generalist role, you’ll report to the GM People & Culture to deliver strategic and hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle. From leadership coaching and employee relations through to talent, engagement, compliance and workplace health and safety, you’ll play a key role in helping our people feel supported, empowered and set up for success. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Partner with leaders across Head Office and Retail to provide practical, trusted and commercially focused P&C advice. 

• Lead and support employee relations, performance management, restructures, investigations and workplace matters with confidence and care. 

• Coach and develop a small P&C team, creating a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team environment. 

• Support talent, succession, onboarding, engagement and retention initiatives that help our people thrive. 

• Support all L&D initiatives through Linked In Learning and face to face workshops 

• Oversee WHS activities, workers compensation and return-to-work processes to support a safe and compliant workplace. 

• Drive continuous improvement across P&C processes, policies, templates and employee experience initiatives. 

About You

• You bring strong HR/P&C generalist experience, ideally within a fast-paced retail, customer-focused or multi-site environment. 

• You’re confident advising leaders on people matters and navigating Australian employment, industrial relations and WHS requirements. 

• You’re a natural coach and collaborator who builds trusted relationships at all levels. 

• You enjoy leading a team, balancing operational priorities and finding simple, practical solutions. 

• You’re curious, proactive and excited by opportunities to improve ways of working, including the thoughtful use of technology and AI. 

• You bring warmth, professionalism, discretion and a genuine passion for people, culture and fashion.
