IT Intern

The IT Intern will assist the IT Department in day-to-day operations, including tagging and documenting IT equipment, organizing and segregating retired/unused IT assets, and supporting basic technical and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in IT asset management, hardware handling, and corporate IT operations.

• →Conduct physical tagging and labeling of all IT equipment (laptops, desktops, peripherals, network devices, etc.).
• →Maintain and update IT asset inventory records (hardware details, asset tags, status, location, and assigned user).
• →Assist in the segregation and removal of obsolete IT equipment (“IT junk”) as per company disposal process.
• →Support the IT team in organizing IT storage areas and systematically arranging equipment.
• →Assist in basic troubleshooting of end-user machines under supervision (e.g., connectivity, peripherals).
• →Coordinate with IT team for equipment issuance and return (onboarding/offboarding process).
• →Help prepare equipment for reuse, repair, or retirement (basic cleaning, formatting under supervision).
• →Document work done and generate basic reports on inventory updates and junk removal progress.

• Fresh graduate or student in IT/Computer Science (or related field).
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to learn and perform physical tasks (tagging, moving equipment).
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality of company data.
