Our client, a precision-driven manufacturer operating in a regulated environment, is currently seeking an experienced Moulding Technician to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with a strong background in injection moulding and a passion for quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
You will be part of a high-performing team operating state-of-the-art moulding and automation equipment to produce components that meet the highest industry standards. The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and a commitment to safety, collaboration, and performance excellence.
Responsibilities
~1 min readSet up, operate, and monitor injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Perform in-process quality checks and adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle times) to ensure consistent output.
Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot production and machine-related issues efficiently.
Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, cosmetic appearance, and material performance.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for any product non-conformances.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality protocols.
Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Carry out preventive maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly.
Work closely with production supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance teams to meet daily output targets.
Communicate clearly on production status, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
Take part in continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and technical training.
Minimum 2 years of experience operating or maintaining injection moulding machinery.
Familiarity with moulding processes, materials, and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Willingness and flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
~1 min readTechnical certification in Plastics Engineering, Toolmaking, or Manufacturing Technology.
Experience with Engel, Arburg, Battenfeld, or Sumitomo Demag machinery.
Exposure to robotic systems, automation, and lean manufacturing environments.
Previous work experience in a medical device, plastics, or high-precision manufacturing setting.
Competitive hourly rate or salary depending on experience
