The analyst in Bogota supports the MD, VP and Associate of the office in client services tasks, fundraising activities and analysis and execution of investment opportunities.
Responsibilities
~1 min readInvestor Relations & Fundraising:
- →The Bogota analyst is responsible of providing support to prospecting through the creation of marketing materials, keeping track of follow ups and timely updating the CRM, led by the relationship manager.
- →The analyst must effectively produce a pitch book, demonstrate basic understanding of the industry and complete basic RFP responses with direction of the relationship manager.
- →The analyst is responsible of producing client update presentations fully understanding the underlying numbers and of supporting clients in a timely and accurate manner to promote re-ups.
- →The analyst must keep track of client requests and liaise with the corresponding teams to provide a timely answer.
Investments:
- →The analyst supports the sourcing, execution, analysis and monitoring of all investments in Latin America, including primaries, secondaries and co-investments.
- →The analyst must be able to perform and effectively transmit accurate and reliable analytical work, identifying drivers of investment opportunities and gathering relevant data.
- →The analyst is responsible of managing non-deal tasks, carrying out desktop research to improve origination, participate in projects to improve internal processes and support the production of investment updates and monitoring documents.
Admin & Talent:
- →The analyst is responsible of supporting the timely execution of office administration tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, economics or similar.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in the financial sector or related industries.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and strong relationship building skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Showcase strong problem-solving skills.
- PC literacy, in particular detailed working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
