Software Engineer

What you will be doing: Update and ensure the accuracy of Developer / Manager views in Task Manager by cross-checking with the status report. Provide daily progress reporting to the Pool Lead or Developer Manager. Write code according to a supplied Application Specification Document (ASD). Attend Scrum meetings, collaborate with other team members, and report progress to the team members (not the Scrum Master). Work closely with the Pool Lead or functional owner. What our client is looking for: 8+ years of development experience. Experience with a 4GL programming language (e.g., Progress, OpenEdge, etc.) would be beneficial. Financial Services experience is ideal. Must have fundamental proficiency in the relevant development environment and coding language. Requires basic problem-solving skills and the ability to clarify requirements. Good communication, proactivity, a quest for knowledge, lateral / logical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines.
