Opportunity


PRCS is seeking a passionate Case Manager to join the PRCS family for the balance of the 2026-2027 school year! The Case Manager supports student's academic achievement by coordinating services, maintaining intervention plans, and collaborating with members of the school team. This role is managed by our Director of Student Supports and regularly collaborates with the School Deans and Assistant Principals. This is a part-time role with hours per day to be determined with the expectation of working 2-3 days per week. 


Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring each student’s needs are met effectively
  • Develop, write, and maintain compliant annual IEPs aligned with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate annual IEP meetings, ensuring participation from all required team members
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of all required reevaluations in accordance with mandated timelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to gather, review, and incorporate all necessary data and documentation into student IEPs
  • Collect, track, and follow up on teacher input forms to ensure comprehensive and accurate student information
  • Coordinate and support initial special education evaluations in partnership with the Child Study Team
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential student records in compliance with legal and district requirements
  • Track deadlines and ensure full adherence to compliance timelines for evaluations, meetings, and documentation


Qualifications and Skills

  • An understanding of the community’s health and mental health resources;
  • The ability to motivate students and cultivate a culture of achievement and joy;

Educational Background and Work Experience

  • A master’s degree in social work and appropriate licenses;
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a School Social Worker, LDTC Psychologist, preferably in an urban middle school setting;
  • Must hold a valid Social Worker, LDTC and/or School Psychologist certification.
