Title: Business Head - Equity

About the Role:We are looking for a growth-oriented and data-driven professional to drive user acquisition, activation, and retention for Intraday Trading and IPO businesses at Paytm Money. The role requires strong analytical thinking, campaign management capabilities, and collaboration across product, marketing, and analytics teams to improve user engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Business Growth & Ownership. Own and drive Monthly Transacting Users (MTUs) across all Equity products including Delivery, Intraday, ETFs, IPOs, Trading Ideas, Baskets, Bonds, NPS, and SIPs. Define and execute business strategies to drive user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention across the Equity ecosystem. Identify growth opportunities and build initiatives to increase market share in the cash segment.
Product Strategy & Roadmap. Develop product vision and business roadmaps for Equity products. Partner closely with Product and Technology teams to prioritize, build, and launch features that drive customer growth and business outcomes. Monitor product performance, customer behavior, and market trends to continuously refine the roadmap.
Go-to-Market (GTM) & Customer Growth: Design and execute GTM strategies for new product launches, feature rollouts, and business initiatives. Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, and Growth teams to maximize adoption and engagement across channels. Drive customer education and awareness initiatives to improve product penetration and trading activity.
Analytics & Business Strategy: Work closely with Analytics teams to derive actionable insights from customer and business data. Build data-driven growth strategies and performance frameworks to track key business metrics. Own business reviews, growth reporting, forecasting, and leadership updates.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Equity Business team. Set clear goals, drive execution excellence, and build a high-performance culture. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on business priorities and outcomes.
Who We're Looking For: 10–15+ years of experience in Equity, Broking, Wealth Management, Fintech, or Capital Markets businesses. Strong understanding of equity investing products, trading behavior, and retail investor ecosystems. Proven track record of driving business growth, customer engagement, and revenue outcomes at scale. Experience working closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Technology teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven decision-making approach. Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teams. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and strategic planning skills. MBA from a reputed institution or equivalent experience preferred.
