What We Offer
~1 min readWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Private Duty Director of Nursing to oversee the clinical operations of our private duty nursing division. The DON will lead a team of skilled nurses and caregivers, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This is a strategic leadership role with significant impact on patient outcomes and operational success.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse educational program
- Registered Nurse / RN licensed in the state of Georgia
- Experience in Private Duty and GAPP program
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for private duty nursing services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with nursing staff, patients, and families.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting professional development and retention.
- Conduct regular chart audits, quality assurance reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient care situations and provide guidance to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with administrative leadership to optimize scheduling, staffing, and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of clinical operations.
