The Telecommunications Equipment Installer – Level III plays a crucial role in the detailed installation, removal, and maintenance of Data Center, Telecom, and Wireless equipment. This position involves working with Transmission, Power, and Fiber systems, ensuring high-standard installations and maintenance with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities

- →Operate vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and test equipment effectively.
- →Execute installation tasks in accordance with Telco Standard TP76300, demonstrating advanced skills and accuracy.
- →Perform comprehensive equipment installation on a range of systems, including AC/DC Power systems and fiber systems.
- →Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage, staging, and work areas on-site.
- →Understand and comply with all general company policies, safety procedures, and administrative requirements.
- →Interpret and apply job specifications, installation documents, and schematics effectively.
- Minimum of 3+ years of installation experience or equivalent training/experience.
- Experience with AT&T Central Office installation practices is advantageous.
- DC Power Installation experience is beneficial.
- Ability to handle equipment including cable trays, data equipment cabinets, and power cables.
- Skill in identifying, labeling, measuring, terminating, and routing cables.
- Proficient in laptop computer applications and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) is a plus.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment background checks; a valid passport is advantageous.
- Compliance with OSHA Standards is mandatory.
- Ability to work in raised floor environments, small crawl spaces, and Telecom superstructures using ladders and lifts.
- Capability to lift 50lbs, stand, walk, climb, and crawl in tight spaces.
- Willingness to travel within the US and potentially internationally, with travel expenses covered by the employer.
