Bridge Tunnel Operations Crewmember

Help protect travelers and keep traffic moving through a vital bridge tunnel facility. We’re seeking reliable, safety‑focused individuals who can work independently and respond effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

About PEMCCO
PEMCCO supports the operation and maintenance of critical tunnel, transportation, and facility systems. We provide stable, hands-on work for skilled trades professionals in a safety-focused environment where your expertise helps keep essential systems running.

What You’ll Do

• Stop and inspect vehicles for over‑height, hazardous materials, and safety concerns
• Provide traffic control and facility security
• Assist police, fire, and emergency responders during incidents
• Patrol tunnels and roadways; report hazards
• Provide roadside assistance and operate company vehicles/equipment

Schedule

• Guaranteed 40 hours/week
• 8‑hour shifts, 5 days/week
• Shifts available based on operational need:
  • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety
• Willing to complete paid DOT and CPR training

*CDL strongly preferred but not required.*
