  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, construction, or related fields.
  • Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening techniques, tree care, irrigation systems, and general landscape maintenance.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance related to landscaping tools and machinery.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred; background check and drug screen required.
  • Chauffeur’s license/DOT card.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscape crews to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Lead landscaping and construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
  • Perform or assist with lawn care, gardening, tree care, irrigation installation and repair, and general horticultural practices.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and ensure all tools are used safely and properly.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills in landscaping, horticulture, and safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
  • Four 10-hour days (approx. 7:00 am to 6:00 pm)

This role is on-site located at 1031 N. Territorial Road West - Ann Arbor, MI 48105
