The Social Media Seasonal Associate will assist the Philadelphia Eagles social media team with content capture and publishing. Candidates should have a passion for creativity and innovation, as well as a strong understanding of the following social platforms: Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate for this role lives and breathes social media and knows how to capture on cell phone, edit video, post, and craft copy for social content that targets new fans, builds community, and supports the team and business goals. This position will collaborate alongside other departments to increase brand awareness and develop engaging content and report to the Short Form Content Specialist.
The Social Media Seasonal Associate will report to the Short Form Content Specialist.
Responsibilities

- Capture engaging cell phone video content featuring players, coaches, front office staff, fans, cheerleaders, and other key stakeholders at games, practices, and events.
- Own daily publishing for Instagram Stories and Snapchat Stories, ensuring timely, on-brand, and engaging coverage across practices, events, and gamedays
- Support the team with short-form video editing for vertical platforms as requested, accounting for platform-native best practices.
- Write clear, engaging copy for social media posts.
- Review platform performance insights to inform content optimization.
- Contribute creative ideas and executions aligned with the content calendar, including NFL tentpole events, seasonal moments, and holidays.
- Monitor and engage with fan comments as needed.
- Work all Philadelphia Eagles gamedays, quickly ideating and executing social content in real time
- Stay informed on the constantly changing landscape of social media, spotting industry best practices
- Must be available to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and gamedays, as social coverage often occurs outside of standard business hours.
Requirements
~1 min read- Must be a recent graduate who has completed, between December 2024 and May 2026, a technical, associate, bachelors, or graduate degree from a qualifying educational institution, or an individual that has been discharged from the military between December 2024 and May 2026.
- A strong understanding of the capabilities of social media and its ability to connect with a wide range of audiences
- An inherent knowledge of content that resonates across the social landscape
- Experience storytelling on social media platforms within a professional environment
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
- Team player and collaborator who maintains composure in high pressure and fast-paced situations
- Process driven with an eye for detail
- Flexible to work nights and weekends
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
